Watering the Orchard.

Ryan Rich 3rd period,
Last week I watered the entire orchard with 30 plus plants in it. The first two days I watered each plant for 80 seconds. The rest of the week I watered all of the plants which looked dry or were wilting for 80 seconds and the rest for about 60 seconds. Reason being is that there wasn't enough time to water all the plants for 80 seconds. As the week went by, I noticed that the leaves on the bushes were all getting sun bleached, so I figured it would have to do with watering the leaves directly while the sun was shining. It's not good to water the leaves in direct sunlight because the water will act as a magnifying glass and could eventually burn the leaves. So I watered around the base of the plants and tried to get as little water as possible on the leaves. Another problem I noticed was aphids growing on the plants, especialy on the vines, and I sprayed them off on friday so there shouldn't be any on them right now. For those who will be watering the plants this week, address all problems immediatley. If you see any of the problems that i've already addressed get worse please tell Mr. Hardin. Overall the orchard looks good and there is nothing I saw that is seriously injuring the plants or to prevent the plants from being healthy.
