Planting, Growing, and Selling

The past two weeks Michelle and I have gotten so much accomplished!

Last Friday marked our first greenhouse sale. One of the moms from the school purchased a herb basket and also gave us a nice donation.

We have planted our cucumbers...which are looking fabulous. By the time we come back from Easter break, they should be a lot taller!

Also, we made labels for our herb and flower baskets. On the front we have a picture of the plant at full maturity with its information, while on the back we included a nice recipe for the people to use with the herbs.

When I first transplanted the Lamb's Ear, I was concerned that I had overwatered it too much. However, it is doing good with new growth every day.

Yesterday Michelle and I volunteered to make the signs for the Horticulture class' greenhouse sale. We found a huge dry-erase board in the computer lab and drew on it with all the information of our sale. Sometime soon we need to make posters of the sale that we can post in the ground at the school.

Today we finally tied all of the plant cards to the baskets with some multi-colored string we borrowed from Mr. Taylor. Then we hung our price sheet up from the ribs of the greenhouse so it was easy to see. Pictures of the space coming soon!
