The Norm :]

So Emily, Grace, and I have been SUPER busy!! Grace and I with our wave petunias (which are going up so fast and are looking gorgeous!), Emily with her peppers, and then our three common projects: the compost, cucumbers, and irises. Everyday, we collect all the compost buckets that are placed both in the teacher's lounge and the cafeteria. The lower schoolers and the faculty members are doing a most wonderful job with helping us out!! Thanks so much!! :D We put all the items in the compost bin and some days we turn the compost while other days we water or do both. Then while Emily checks on her peppers, Grace and I check on our wave petunias. This all may not sound like a lot, but trust us it is a TON of work; tiring, but very fulfilling. :) Our newest edition to our work are the irises. We didn't grow them from a bulb like usual, but we received them as full plants to clean, cut, and then transplant into little gardening pots. All this work is very exciting!! The wave petunias are getting bigger and the compost pile is growing taller everyday. Can't wait to actually see our flowers bloom, compost begin fully decomposing, and the cucumber plant get somewhere over 2 inches tall!! :D
