Many said Pepper seeds can take anywhere from one week to three months to sprout, but we do not have a month to wait on them. The websites I looked at also said that during germination time, we are supposed to keep the Pepper seeds at 75-90 degrees Fahrenheit, which we haven't been doing. With a temperature lower than this you can't expect the seeds to sprout quickly. Another interesting fact I learned is that the hotter the Pepper, the longer the seed takes to sprout.
Other than research, I watered our Pepper plants, then our class took an awesome nature hike. : )
Wow, great research. Since we had the peppers above the lights, I think we were above 75 degrees. Now, with 6 lights in, we are probably around 80, I left a thermometer under them to make sure. You can check it in the morning.
